MicroKorg arpeggiator + MIDI Thru?

I’m trying to get my DX-7, MicroKorg (original) and CZ-1 to play nice.

I know about the PRE/POST options, but they’ve only gotten me halfway.

What I’m trying to do is:

1. Play chord on DX-7, send MIDI to MicroKorg
2. Have MicroKorg arpeggiate the chord, send MIDI to CZ-1
3. Hear arpeggiated notes on CZ-1.

I’ve googled all night, but haven’t found a clear answer. Is this not possible?

I guess it’d be easiest to just play the chord on the MicroKorg and send its MIDI out to the other synths, but I was hoping to use it as a middle-man, because I prefer the DX-7’s velocity/aftertouch/key range.
