[First Synth] Minilogue vs Minilogue XD

Hey guys, how was everyone's Christmas / holidays?

I've been wanting to make my first splash into the world of synths, as I am primarily a guitarist and bassist.

There's a couple of deals on right now, the Korg Minilogue for $475CAD, and a Minilogue XD for $749CAD. The XD has a ton of more features obviously, but is the XD almost $300 better?

I'm leaning towards the standard Minilogue, but would appreciate some input from those who have tried either or both.
