Not sure if this is the best sub for this, but whatever.
Some friends of mine have started a post-metal band (think Isis, Pelicans, Russian Circles), and they've invited me to join as a synth player. But, I'm at a loss as to what a synth player should be doing in a post-metal band.
Does anybody have any favorite metal songs with great atmospheric synths in them? Thanks!
