Vocal type synth

<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>Hi guys, there’s a lead synth used in <a href="https://open.spotify.com/track/37zn2AcSRSqyEEBczSWDPE?si=l0-YbCyYSAaroOejmZvKyw&amp;dl_branch=1">passenger seat</a> ’ by Homeshake, at 1:34. Just trying to identify what synth/manipulated sound it is - I’ve had a couple ideas, from maybe formant shifted auto tuned vocals or some sort of mono synth. Judging by the second one that plays at 2:57, I’m leaning towards a synth rather than vocals. Was just wondering if any of you with good ears could give it a crack?</p> </div><!-- SC_ON --> submitted by <a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/SUPREME_LeaderSnoke"> /u/SUPREME_LeaderSnoke </a> <br/> <span><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/synthesizers/comments/p38ot7/vocal_type_synth/">[link]</a></span> <span><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/synthesizers/comments/p38ot7/vocal_type_synth/">[comments]</a></span>
