Can someone explain sampling using the Korg Wavestate?

<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>I’d like to experiment with sampling using my Wavestate but I don’t really get it.</p> <p>For instance, if I were to sample a single pitched sound, let’s say a note on a piano…when I upload that sample into the Wavestate will I only have that single pitch or will the Wavestate be able to play other pitches using that data? Essentially creating a new full piano? </p> <p>Any guidance would be very appreciated!</p> </div><!-- SC_ON --> submitted by <a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/beard9beard89"> /u/beard9beard89 </a> <br/> <span><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/synthesizers/comments/s2pr4j/can_someone_explain_sampling_using_the_korg/">[link]</a></span> <span><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/synthesizers/comments/s2pr4j/can_someone_explain_sampling_using_the_korg/">[comments]</a></span>
