However, I am a total newbie and I could not find this basic information:</p> <p>What is the main difference between working on a Digital Audio Workstation (such as Ableton Live or FL Studio) and a hardware synthesizer/sequencer/machine? </p> <p>Is there anything that DAW cannot do, but hardware can and vice versa? Are there any sounds or options which are unique only to hardware analogue synths?
