<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>I recently snagged a second hand Roland R8 “human rhythm composer” drum machine for next to nothing. Amazing piece of gear with great 80s sounding drums built right in.</p> <p>Regardless of what I do, I can’t seem to get it to read midi clock signals from Ableton via a midi interface. I’ve reset the R-8, have used different ports and cables on the interface. I’ve done my best to muck about with the R-8 MIDI settings, but to the best of my knowledge, it should be working. It doesn’t seem to be reading any MIDI sync commands. </p> <p>Anyone familiar with this drum machine?
