<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>I used to love-hate it because it is damn powerful but the UI sucks (a couple of arrows, and a hierarchical structure with everything deep in some list). But recently I realized something huge. Given you can assign 8 knobs and 8 pads, instead of thinking that I am designing a patch, what I realized is that what is going on is the design of the sound AND the design of the panel. Meaning this: You can spend an initial time designing very specific panels, in template patches. For instance, an "Analog synth", or an "EP", or "Pads". Every knob and every pad will be assigned to support that specific function. Now, patch creation can be done with an immediate workflow. You just need to open a template and play around with knobs and pads to edit. Menu diving should be very occasional if you did a good selection of accessible parameters.
