Correct way of setting up patchbay

<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>I am currently setting up my setup with a patchbay and im scratching my head how i should go about connecting it in a optimal way. </p> <p>Equipment i want to connect to the patchbay: </p> <p>-<a href="https://gearspace.com/gear/novation/peak">Novation Peak</a>: Balanced trs<br/> -Behringer <a href="https://gearspace.com/board/gear.php?t=Model%20D">Model D</a>: Unbalanced ts<br/> -Roland <a href="https://gearspace.com/gear/roland/boutique-series-ju-06a">JU06A</a>: Unbalanced ts<br/> -Octatrack: Balanced trs<br/> - Space echo <a href="https://gearspace.com/gear/roland/re-201-space-echo">re201</a>: Unbalanced ts </p> <p>Lets say i connect to the balanced synths with trs and the unbalanced with ts to the back of the patchbay. </p> <p>Should i continue with the same cables from patchbay to my clarett <a href="https://gearspace.com/gear/motu/8pre">8PRE AUDIO INTERFACE</a>? Or is it better to use all trs cables from patchbay to interface? </p> <p>How should i go about this? </p> <p>I also plan to use my strymon <a href="https://gearspace.com/gear/strymon/bigsky">BigSky</a> and timeline pedals through my patchbay in the front. And they are unbalanced. </p> <p>So lets say i want to patch the unbalanced <a href="https://gearspace.com/gear/strymon/bigsky">BigSky</a> to my balanced <a href="https://gearspace.com/gear/novation/peak">Novation Peak</a>. How would i go about this? patch the bisky with ts or trs cables? </p> <p>This is making me absolute nuts.
